There is such phenomenal juxtaposition in our world! 
The blossoming lilacs, exuberant tulips, rainstorms… 
The month of Ramadan and the reminders of revelation and devotion… 
The suffering in our communities, schools, families… 
And, somehow, we need to gather the wisdom, strength, resource, perspective, courage, compassion and life energy to stabilize ourselves and support our loved ones, and help humanity.

You know how people parade snowflakes as the standard of uniqueness? I wonder why we don’t use the example of popcorn instead, each kernel exploding open in its own unique burst of “I AM-ness.” I’d like to advocate for a popcorn metaphor. Fingerprints, snowflakes, popcorn kernels. I know my preference.

This evening (Tuesday, December 25th), we’ll be attuning to the Mystical Christ through the Aramaic Lord’s Prayer – 7 PM – Unity Church in Fort Collins, 1401 W Vine Dr. – $10 to $20 suggested – our time will include embodied prayer, music and contemplative practice with the teachings of Jesus.
