In honor of Murshid Wali Ali, a true friend of The Friend, we will shape this evening’s Chant and Pray around his life, service, teachings and dedication to the Path. He enriched my life and I am grateful for the ways he shared the essence of the path of Spiritual Liberty. Blessings and prayers for his soul’s peace. 

Today, Friday, is the monthly Sufi Contact meditation. Our Noon Prayer Zoom will be approximately 45 minutes. Join us for a reading from Inayat Khan and shared practice with Sufi friends around the world. 12 PM Mountain (7 PM UTC) – Zoom Here!

What an interesting time of year. The quality of sunlight gets a little weird, the moon is on the wane again, snowy skies (whether it falls or not), firing up the woodstove, baking pies, praying, singing, and getting things in order. I’m so impressed with people who make their own yogurt, almond milk, beds, lip balm, chai, and mead. I make my own messes, and brush my own teeth. Pretty good, eh? Beloved Community, 
This afternoon, I saw the most excellent life sized skeleton on a front porch. Yep. That’s the season. The days have shrunk, the nights have grown, the moon wanes and we keep on singing and praying and shining.

I am excited and humming with love!
Please accept this invitation and reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday, September 13th) is the formal Dedication and Blessing Ceremony for our new Sufi order and church: Sirat-i Inayat.

If you are able to join us in person, we’ll be at the Unity Church in Fort Collins.
Ceremony begins at 10 AM, so please arrive 15 minutes ahead of that.
I expect the ceremony to last 60 to 90 minutes…but I really don’t know since there are lots of moving parts and people!

We will have iced tea, lemonade and CAKE!!! (gluten-full and gluten-free).

If you can’t join us in person, please join us on the zoom.
