Spending some sweet time with very young children is a good way to remind ourselves what it’s like to be completely present to our experience. The joys that are full on, the tantrums that are absolute, the wonder, curiosity, the constant discovery of new phenomena, new abilities, new sensations, new, new, new… HIGH RECOMMEND!! Monday Morning Sufi Meditation will be at 7 AM tomorrow. Really, for real, 7 AM Mountain Time (2 PM UTC, 3 PM in Germany, 4 PM in Moscow) – we’ll be on the zoom…and some of us will be leading/participating from up in the mountains where we are in the midst of the most delicious chant retreat. Sometimes, when things are particularly unpleasant, I think living in a cave sounds about right…and then…chant evening comes around…we sing for two hours…and life is sweet! Humanity is beautiful. The Earth is MAGNIFICENT!!! And God is a loving, uplifting, encouraging, validating, energizing Mama Hug. Yep. Singing. Try it.
