| Dear Friends, There are two changes to the schedule. 1. Next Saturday, November 7th, I’ve decided to hold a Zikr evening in Denver instead of an Interfaith Dances of Universal Peace. Right now I think this will be an ongoing change. When I’m available, the 1st Saturday of the month will be Zikr night in Denver. The 3rd and 5th Saturdays will be Dances of Universal Peace. I hope this is a welcome shift for you…it feels good for me! 2. The upcoming retreat, first weekend of December has been designated as a “Cherag Retreat,” but it seems there isn’t much interest in that…so, I’m shifting the focus of the retreat to be a contemplative Sufi retreat. We’ll include some Cherag components, but will settle more into meditation, wazifa practice, Zikr, and silence. It is a small retreat, maximum 11 participants. Food will be planned out in advance, but prepared by our retreat group. If this appeals to you, please get in touch with me or Rahima: rahima@siratiinayat.org as soon as possible. Retreat is one month away. The rest of the schedule is pretty much what you expect, with the bonus of today being Samhain, Halloween, All Hallow’s Eve, and generally a good magical moment for remembering the ancestors and their love of candy. Blessings to all on this holy moment! SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1st – BREAK ALL THE CLOCKS!! – U.S. Daylight Saving Time ends…watch for uncomfortable scheduling mishaps for the next few days.
