Spiritual Seekers Unite!
Our community gatherings, through every season, focus on cultivating qualities of the heart: tolerance, compassion, harmony, peace, and skillful ways of being in the world. From our Pagan ceremonies to Sufi Zikr to Interfaith chants and Dances of Universal Peace, we are doing our best to pay attention to our inner and outer circumstances so we can be living examples of kindness, equanimity, and loving awareness. In my experience the most powerful and comprehensive teacher of these ideals was Pir-O-Murshid Inayat Khan. The Universal Worship Service Murshid gave humanity was the seed inspiration for the Dances of Universal Peace and his extensive teachings weaving together the mundane experience and the spiritual life continue to guide and encourage us along a path of loving, conscientious being.
Murshid’s Urs (the anniversary of his death) is coming up next week, February 5th and I’ll be offering an evening celebration in Denver, including Zikr, a Universal Worship Service, music, Dances of Universal Peace, Sufi prayers and teachings. Please join us! More info below…
