Beloved Friends,  I have a dear old (younger than me, but still old) brother who lives in Thailand. When he visits home, he lives on ice cream, which means we ALL live on ice cream! I do believe Ben and Jerry’s is a legit fountain of youth. If you find yourself in the grocery store mesmerized by the flavor options, losing all your hard-earned adult decorum, and ultimately going home with FIVE containers of ice cream, please count that as a big, happy win in life! And, I’m not joking when I say, your chances of impulse buying ice cream increases when you spend more time contemplating and discussing death and dying. Dear Ones, Wowee-zowee! This here world is a wild and woolly adventure for the spirit! Sometimes I think sporting a goatee and sideburns with big ol’ aviator shades would help me feel synced up with the vibes of society. The older I get the more comfy I am as a homebody. And…still…lilacs bloom, redbuds explode with beauty, squirrels and red-wing blackbirds clang a ruckus through the treetops, and we keep moving and grooving as best we can with the rhythms of life. Dear Friends,  Ah, the Colorado sunshine is such good medicine! While I try very hard not to encourage bad behaviors and life choices, I really do want to encourage you to get outside and get a sunburn as soon as possible! Dear Community, Do you have any idea how much JOY a kitten can bring into your life? Do you? Let me tell you, I was already pretty darn happy, full life, lots of love, plenty of companionship, warmth, contentment, laughter, delight…and then, KITTEN!!! And my joy factor has increased by 70 belly laughs, 25% bigger heart capacity, heightened cuddle body temperature, and deeper smile wrinkles…OMG!!! Go rescue a kitten!! What are you waiting for? My new furry friend is named Anastasia Harley Tobias. According to my mama, “she’s a gem,” and according to me, she’s a joy amplifier to the Nth!
