Kalliope is a dynamic, eclectic dynamic duo featuring local Fort Collins musicians Sharon Docherty, and Sara Rain. Our sounds include rich harmonies, acoustic instrumentation (guitar, fiddle, banjo and more!), and unique arrangements. With sounds ranging from Indy Pop to Americana to foreign ballads, there’s a little something for everyone. Whether you are a serious music connoisseur or just need some comic relief!
Sara Rain weaves in inter-cultural depth, intricate harmonies and a medley of instrumentation spanning traditions and languages. She swims in the heart of the music!
Sharon Docherty is a multi-instrumentalist with a richly textured vocal style and rhythm that echoes out from her core. Her folksy charm is contagious!
