Tomorrow (Saturday, the 21^st) – New Moon Ritual – RSVP, ASAP, ATV, IRA, CBS, NASA, ET AL…

 

Tuesday, October 24^th – Women’s DUP is still a go – at St. Barnabas Church in Denver (southeast corner of 13^th and Vine) – 7 PM – Suggested donation $6

 

Wednesday, October 25^th – I’m leading the DUP – In Denver (United Methodist Church on the southeast corner of 7^th and Colorado) – 7:15 PM – $8 or punch card

 

Friday, October 27^th – Chant – 5000 Boardwalk #13 – 7 PM – by donation

If you’re interested in carpooling to the chant, please meet at River Rock commons at 6:30 PM – And please do let me know you’re planning to carpool so I can communicate with vehicle providers and make sure no one gets stranded (not that that would ever happen!)

 

Tuesday, October 31^st – Samhain ritual – You must RSVP no later than Wednesday the 25^th if you want to attend. I need a solid head count so I can make the necessary arrangements for space, communicate all the details to you, etc. Mandy will be co-facilitating the ritual with me this year. THANK YOU, MANDY!!!  

 

Saturday, November 4^th – Spiritual Mentoring meeting – In Denver – 2-4 PM – I’m working to pull together a Spiritual Mentoring meeting in Denver. It will be an orientation-type meeting discussing what Spiritual Mentoring is, how it works in a group or one-on-one context. Anyone interested at the end of the meeting can make arrangements for a monthly Spiritual Mentoring group. Please let me know if you’re interested so I can be sure to plan a reasonable space for this meeting. Thank you, Damira, for prompting this!

On another note:

I’ve been asked to send a mass-report to all of you who know and love Ivy, Scott and Hazel. The earthquake that struck Hawaii knocked some pictures off the walls in their new home and they were without power but everyone is fine, safe and healthy. HURRAY!!!

Way back when I was a dirt-head teen-angster, I had a cassette tape of a band that sang “Happy, happy Halloween, Halloween, Halloween…” do any of you remember the band or the song?

No matter, I’ve moved on to chants and spiritual ballads.

Won’t you join me in a few rounds of Kumbaya or some other strange event this month?

Tuesday, October 31^st – Samhain ritual – 9:30 PM – adults only – please contact me for more information – this is an open ritual but there are some specific guidelines and preparations for participants. There will be a maximum number of participants as space is limited. This is a formal ritual and the rite goes through midnight. I need committed RSVPs no later than October 25^th. 

 

 

As an introduction or reminder (in case you need either):

I’d like to extend an Open Circle welcome to all of you who may be just finding this mailer, the website and/or the circles. I know open circles are hard to come by and there’s often a strange discomfort in entering a new group (perhaps especially a Pagan group!). If you are in the “new crowd,” please know that I make every effort to accommodate the diverse needs of the circle and everyone is always welcome. You need not worry about disrupting an established rhythm. It is an ever-open, dynamic, changing and flowing circle and your presence is a blessing!

If you are in the “know crowd,” thank you for your on-going participation and co-creation of the circle! A circle is only as warm as the participants make it and all of you are a tremendous blessing to each other! Thank you for maintaining the ongoing circle, for building community and for continuing to welcome the ever-changing needs of the circle!
